Hello everyone! Tournament #2 was a huge success, and we are moving straight into tournament #3!

Time: 1:45 EST- Checkin 2:00 EST- Tournament Begins
Registration: You can register at http://challonge.com/tournament/signup/7dvyezpa64 . When you register, you MUST report your name in this format: CharacterName.CharacterCode ex: Fiction.829
Click the link lower on the page that says "Sign up without a challonge account."


Tournament Rules:
- All matchups are best 2 of 3. Maps will be selected from the 1v1 ladder pool.
- The first map in a series is chosen by vote down. The player with the higher seed number will select 2 maps to vote down first, followed by the other player selecting 2. The players will then vote down one more map each, leaving the higher seed player to decide the map from the remaining 2.
- Subsequent maps will be chosen by the loser of the previous match.
- Race changing is not allowed.
- Failure to report to your match 15 minutes after the scheduled start time results in a disqualification unless otherwise permitted by an official.

Fic, I cant join this one either, I have to study for my diabolical midterms :/ Ill be back on Bnet soon, Until then, my whole life is on hold because of midterms D: I think a 2v2 tourney sometime would be cool and would be fun. I will be back for 1-29 tourney though, so yeah. Ill see u guys around.

Ninja: the character code is the one that is associated with your starcraft character. Its a 3 digit number, you can find it on b.net or by hovering over your profile picture in game.

Are you going to be doing seeding like we talked about based on the last tournament then some randomizing program for newcomers?

I am going to seed the tournament based on the placement of returning players, then random seeding for the other players. If players are knocked out on equivalent levels the seeding will be random in that block. So the people who were knocked out in the semifinals will randomly be assigned seeds 3 and 4.

Yeah we are north american. Just join the FGG chatroom on b.net. All you have to do is type FGG into the search bar. There are never less than 5 people in there at a time.

Should i split next week's tournament into a higher and lower level, and maybe have the champion of each play at the end or something? I was thinking we should split it into bronze-gold and platinum diamond.

Geuss what, Ill be there for that tourney but ill probs be rusty. (i cant find anything that rolls of the tongue when im talking about comparing rusty things... suggestions?)

I decided to split the tournament the way i suggested. Everyone in bronze through gold signs up for one, and everyone else signs up for the higher level bracket. At the end we can have the champions from both brackets play each other for fun.

Also, if you are an OP bronze, use your own discretion in choosing your bracket. (im looking at you luko 0_o)

i did horrible the last tourney, i need to pratice more, just been busy but after this week of pratice i'll see where i should go lol
