1-29 Tournament

Hello everyone! We are going to add several changes to this week's tournament, so be sure to read everything here!

The major change is that we will be splitting the bracket by league. There will be one bracket for bronze-gold competitors, and one bracket for platinum and up. This should increase the fairness of the tournament and give more people a better chance of moving on to latter rounds. I am also moving the tournament start time to 3:30 EST, with check-in starting PROMPTLY at 3:15. If you cannot make it by 3:15 you need to contact me or a tournament mod to let us know you will be late. A lot of people were complaining about how early it was last week. This is the latest we can go for a single day tournament.

Time: 3:15 EST- Check-in begins- DONT BE LATE. 3:30 EST- First round of play begins.
Registration: As always be sure to register using BOTH your name and character ID ex: Fiction.829

Be sure to register for the correct bracket. If you try to play in the wrong bracket, you will be disqualified. (Just to make sure this is completely clear, we are talking about your 1v1 rank ONLY.)
Check-in: Check in on the FGG chat channel. If you have not previously joined the channel, simply type "FGG" in the channel search bar.


Tournament Rules:
- All matchups are best 2 of 3. Maps will be selected from the 1v1 ladder pool.
- The first map in a series is chosen by vote down. The player with the higher seed number will select 2 maps to vote down first, followed by the other player selecting 2. The players will then vote down the remaining maps until only one remains.
- Subsequent maps will be chosen by the loser of the previous match.
- Race changing is not allowed.
- Failure to report to your match 15 minutes after the scheduled start time results in a disqualification unless otherwise permitted by an official.
